邹磊,北京大学王选计算机研究所教授、电子出版新技术国家工程研究中心副主任。国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金获得者,主持包括国家自然科学基金重点基金和国家科技部重点研发计划课题等多项国家级课题。邹磊分别毕于2003年和2009年毕业于华中科技大学计算机科学与技术学院获得学士和博士学位。博士学习期间,分别访问了加拿大滑铁卢大学和香港科技大学。2009年7月加入北京大学王选计算机研究所(原北京大学计算机科学技术研究所),分别于2012年8月和2017年8月晋升为副教授和教授。
邹磊教授最近主要研究方向包括图数据库,知识图谱,面向图的软硬件协调计算,以及图数据在大数据方面的应用。2017年所主持的项目“大规模图结构数据管理”获得教育部自然科学二等奖。

图数据管理
随着社交网络、知识图谱和其他网络数据的发展,图在大数据分析等应用中的作用越来越重要。不同于传统的关系型数据库(RDBMS),图数据是以更加显式地方式来表征事物之间的复杂关联。虽然灵活模式(schema-free)使得图数据库更加方便地进行多源异构数据的集成,但是同时也为图数据库的查询优化和分布式处理带来诸多挑战。我的研究重点是构建原生的图数据库系统,包括结构感知的索引构建、查询优化机制和分布式图查询框架。另外,我们也研究了图算法的优化,包括模式匹配、路径类和随机游走类的图算法。
知识图谱
由于在不同领域的广泛应用,知识图谱的研究引起了研究者的广泛关注。总的来说,知识图谱是一个交叉研究的课题,因为不同领域的研究者从不同的角度来研究知识图谱。我的研究主要集中在面向知识图谱系统的研究工作,包括:知识图谱的构建平台,知识图谱数据的存储和管理,以及知识图谱应用系统,例如面向知识图谱的自然语言问答系统。在研究过程中,我们构建了一系列的知识图谱系统gStore,包括知识图谱图数据库gBuilder,知识图谱构建平台和知识图谱问答系统gAnswer。另外,我们最近在重点研究多模态知识图谱以及推理等相关课题。
面向图计算的软硬件协同设计
由于图问题的固有的复杂性,一个可行的技术路线是利用硬件的计算特点来进行加速;然而,不同的硬件加速器(GPU、FPGA等)有着不同的计算特点。我的研究重点是设计一系列的定量模型,对图问题的特点和硬件加速器的计算特征进行联合建模,将面向图计算的加速器设计问题转化为一个模型优化问题。另外,在设计中,我们着重考虑在不同图算法中抽象共同算子,通过软硬件一体化的策略来优化这些图算法中的共同计算模式,从而加速一批图算法的性能。
